|Welcome to The Old Quay Inn
This long established pub, situated at the head of Restronguet Creek in Devoran, adjacent to the coast-to-coast cycle and walking trail, is enjoying a renaissance under new owners Hannah and John Calland - much to the delight of locals and visitors alike. Hannah and John were previously managers at the Pandora Inn.
Open daily from 11am, dogs and children are welcome. We really look forward to welcoming you to the pub.
Our Food and Drink
Alex Carlisle, our Chef who trained at The Ivy, along with his young team, delights in creating seriously good food, weaving together the best of local produce that Cornwall has to offer into imaginative and exciting menus with a modern twist - whether the choice is fish, meat or vegetarian.
At the Old Quay Inn we work closely with local producers, farmers and fishermen to buy ingredients that are fresh, of the highest quality and low in food miles

Our Evening menu changes weekly
We ensure that we offer a good selection of fresh Cornish fish on our imaginative daily specials menu, always trying to ensure that the species we use are not from threatened or depleted fish stocks. Meals are served from 12 noon to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm daily, 7 days a week. We also serve morning coffee with pastries and afternoon coffee and cake as well as Cornish Cream Teas from April to October.
Bed and Breakfast
The Old Quay Inn offers two double rooms for bed and breakfast guests. Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities plus television with Freeview. The guest rooms are part of the main pub but completely private and with shared facilities so lends itself excellently to couples or families seeking accommodation together.
Devoran has wonderful local walks and wildlife in and around the creek and is an ideal central location to stay for exploring Cornwall with all it has to offer.
Both rooms are double and Bedroom 2, Quay Facing Super King, has wonderful views over the creek and beyond. Bedroom 1 at the back, Garden Facing King, overlooks our terraced garden. Shared bathroom facilities. We love pets, but sadly we can't allow pets in the rooms, sorry.

The Secret Pub Garden
The Terraced Walled Garden to the rear is what we think of as 'Devoran's best kept secret'. If you have visited the pub before and have never looked out at the back then you have a treat in store.
Whether just taking a drink to enjoy out there or have your meal served up to you, you will be sure to enjoy. The terraces climb up at the back with little alcoves creating a sheltered sun trap by day and in the summer with the well placed lighting, is a popular venue during those long warm evenings.
So if you have never yet had the pleasure, come along and see what we mean. It is ideal for a summer lunch so bring the whole family.
For the walkers, cyclists and horse riders, the pub is just 50 yards from the Portreath to Devoran Mineral Tramway coast-to-coast path which links these two historic communities. Locals and visitors with small craft can take advantage of the tide to visit the Old Quay Inn by boat - mooring up at Devoran Quay.
